Rockworth Receives the “White Flag with Green Star” Award 2025, Reinforcing Strong Environmental Governance

Rockworth Public Company Limited is pleased to announce that its manufacturing facility has been awarded the Environmental Governance Flag and Certificate of Recognition (White Flag with Green Star) for 2025 by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). This recognition reflects the company’s strong environmental governance, transparent operations, and excellent performance under the official evaluation.

The award is part of a program that encourages public participation in monitoring and overseeing factory operations within industrial estates. The evaluation is conducted by a committee representing government agencies, local communities, and regional authorities, based on a comprehensive framework across five dimensions: physical, economic, environmental, social, and management. The objective is to promote good governance while strengthening long-term responsibility toward the environment and society.

This achievement highlights Rockworth’s commitment to operating with clear, accountable systems and taking environmental and community impacts seriously. It is also the result of continuous improvement and collaboration across teams within the organization.

Rockworth believes this recognition not only marks an important milestone, but also enhances trust among customers, partners, and public stakeholders while supporting the company’s long-term ESG direction and sustainability goals, reaffirming operations that are transparent and verifiable.

Design Competition: Furniture Design and Production (Integrated Course Project)

Department of Interior Design, School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University

Rockworth Public Company Limited supports sustainable design education by providing waste materials from its furniture manufacturing process to students from the School of Architecture and Design at Assumption University. The materials were used as a design challenge in the Furniture Design and Production course.

This initiative extends Rockworth’s Circular Design approach, built on the belief that every material still holds value—even those left over from production. By working with real industrial materials, students were able to explore new possibilities and transform waste into creative furniture designs.

The project aims to encourage responsible use of resources while giving emerging designers hands-on experience with real materials and real design challenges, fostering creativity alongside a sustainable design mindset.
