With deep gratitude for the royal kindness of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who for decades has supported careers and created stability for communities across Thailand, Rockworth recognizes that many of those people have now grown older and need healthcare.
Rockworth is proud to play a part in continuing the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother through a donation of 300,000 Baht to the “Doing Good Deeds Behind the King’s Image” Foundation.
The contribution supports a cataract treatment program for remote areas — including communities that once received royal occupational development projects.
From once receiving the royal gift of livelihood, they are now receiving healthcare.
This reflects the continuity of royal benevolence that has cared for the people throughout their lives.
Supporting a Sustainable System — Not Just a One-Time Donation
The funds will be used to renovate abandoned operating rooms in district hospitals, procure standard screening and surgical equipment, and deploy medical specialists to provide treatment in local communities.
Hundreds of patients will receive free cataract surgery without the need to travel far or worry about expenses.
More importantly, these operating rooms will continue to serve the community for many years to come.
This initiative has already been implemented in several provinces and continues to expand to other areas nationwide.
