Rockworth welcomed faculty members and third-year students from the Department of Interior Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (RMUTR) to the Rockworth Experience Center on July 17, 2026. The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain practical insights into contemporary workplace design and explore how furniture and spatial solutions can support the evolving needs of today's work environments.
The visit offered a hands-on learning experience, allowing students to explore workplace settings, real-world workspace solutions, and Rockworth's range of furniture and materials. A key focus of the visit was Activity-Based Working (ABW) — a workplace design approach that provides varied settings tailored to the activities and workstyles taking place within a space. Through experiencing these solutions firsthand, students gained a deeper understanding of how workplace environments can be planned to support diverse activities and changing ways of working.
Learning through real-world experiences plays an important role in broadening perspectives and inspiring the next generation of designers. The opportunity to observe, experience, and exchange perspectives with workplace design professionals in an actual working environment provides valuable knowledge that students can apply directly to future interior architecture and workplace design projects.
Rockworth sincerely thanks the faculty and students from Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin for visiting the Rockworth Experience Center and taking part in this learning experience. Rockworth remains committed to supporting education and knowledge exchange within the architecture and design community, helping future designers build practical perspectives and contribute to the continued development of Thailand's design industry.
