The Beginning of the Collaboration

This collaboration originated from a visit by students and faculty members from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University, to the Rockworth Experience Center on October 17, 2024. During this visit, students gained firsthand experience exploring various zones and learning about the Activity-Based Working (ABW) concept that Rockworth applies in modern workplace design.

The educational visit not only provided knowledge and experience in workplace design but also created opportunities for exchanging insights and perspectives that sparked creativity among emerging designers, ultimately leading to this concrete collaboration.

A Challenging Design Brief

This activity was organized under the theme “Designing Office Spaces for Various Faculties within the University” for the course CRD247 Interior Design for Office. Students drew inspiration from their visit to the Rockworth Experience Center, applying both the Activity-Based Working (ABW) concept and incorporating Rockworth products into their actual course projects.

Expert Evaluation and Feedback

A team of experts from Rockworth participated in evaluating the projects and closely exchanged design perspectives with the students, providing valuable advice and suggestions for future skill development. This presented a valuable opportunity to connect the academic world with real business experience.

Awards for Outstanding Work

To encourage learning and develop students’ potential, Rockworth awarded prizes to students whose workspace designs effectively met functional requirements, appropriately selected furniture, and clearly conveyed design concepts. Two awards were presented: the First Prize of 5,000 baht and the Second Prize of 3,000 baht.

Celebrating Creativity and Dedication

Rockworth congratulates all award winners and commends every project that reflected the students’ dedication and creativity. We would also like to thank the Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University, for the opportunity to support education and jointly develop emerging designers who will become important contributors to the industry in the future.
